From Rookie to Legend: how the DEAFESG rating works

Share:
Ratings now form one clear ladder. You can see your step and how many points are left to the next one.
The ladder. Eight ranks: Rookie → Amateur → Fighter → Pro → Expert → Master → Elite → Legend. The first six have three divisions (I–III). Every linked game account starts at 500 points. Legend is limited to the best: 1790+ points and a place in the platform's top 50.
Team or player. Every game has a rating, and how it works depends on the format. In team games (for example 5v5 or duos) the rating belongs to the team, and the whole roster gains or loses points for a match. In 1v1 games the rating belongs to the player.
Where points come from. Only tournament matches count. Beating a stronger opponent earns more, and a convincing score weighs more than a narrow win. In Battle Royale, points for kills and placement go straight into your rating. In CS2 with a linked FACEIT account there is a bonus: your personal change is 50–150% of your team's, depending on how well you played. Friendly matches don't count, and a tournament counts only if its page shows the "Rating · Counted" card.
How to start. Verify your profile → link your game account (and FACEIT for the CS2 bonus) → build a team if the game is a team one → apply to a tournament marked "Rating · Counted".
